The Journey To Rove
Rove was founded by Dr. Mitch Long - a former collegiate multi-event athlete who saw firsthand how fragmented and passive the healthcare system could be—especially for people stuck in the grey area between injury and optimal performance.
After years of providing more traditional care in the system, the model shifted. Rove was built as a movement-first, goal-driven, performance-supportive practice. It's a concept where chiropractic has as part of a bigger strategy—not the entire plan.
Every session is designed to blend clinical insight with real-life coaching. Because getting out of pain is just the beginning—what comes next is where the real work (and reward) begins.

Mitchell Long, DC, MS
Rehab & Performance Coach
Dr. Mitch Long began his career helping people get out of pain, but quickly realized that treatment alone was not enough. Too many people felt stuck between rehab and getting back to the activities they loved.
That is what led him to evolve beyond the role of Clinician and step into the shoes of a Rehab & Performance Coach. By combining hands-on care, movement assessment, exercise, and ongoing support, Mitch helps people build strength, stay active, and take control of their health for the long term.
Meet the Doctor
Dr. Mitch Long is the founder of Rove Chiropractic and works with active adults who want to move past pain and get back to the activities they care about. His approach blends hands-on care, strength-based rehabilitation, and personalized movement programming and coaching to help people rebuild confidence in their bodies and develop long-term resilience. He focuses on helping patients not only recover from injury but build the strength and capacity to stay active for the long term.
Dr. Long earned his Bachelor of Human Kinetics with a focus in Movement Science from the University of Windsor, where he was also a member of the Windsor Lancer track and field team. As a multi-event athlete competing in the heptathlon, he was part of the team that won the USPORT National Championship and individually placed 7th in Canada. His experience as a high-performance athlete continues to shape how he approaches recovery, training, and helping others return to the activities they love.
He later earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic and a Master’s in Applied Clinical Nutrition from New York Chiropractic College. With a strong foundation in biomechanics, rehabilitation, and human performance, Dr. Long helps people move better, feel stronger, and develop the confidence to take ownership of their health and performance.
Through Rove’s hybrid care model, he works with patients both in person and through guided programming and coaching, delivering individualized care that fits into real life and supports sustainable progress.
